DAKINE Polish Skimboarding Open 2011

Just like last year we took the trip to danzig poland. this time we also had our best friend toni around. The event was the best ever and we were really happy with Fiete coming in 4th und Dani 3rd. Cheers to Benny from ISG  taking 6th place.

18 Tage…

…und dann ist es wieder so weit! Wir machen uns auf den Weg zum größten Skimboard Contest Europas nach Polen, letztes Jahr war dies schon ein voller Erfolg für uns eine ganze Tankladung gewonnen und viele neue Leute kennengelernt, Kulturen ausgetauscht, Trinktechniken erlernt und vieles mehr. Dieses Jahr soll das Event noch viel heftiger werden mit einer riesigen Liste an Sponsoren kann man echt behaupten, dass das Skimboarden in Polen sehr populär ist. Am 29. Juli die Qualifikationsrunden losgehen. Bengt und Ich haben eine wildcard bekommen, sodass wir schon im Viertelfinale stehen und erst Samstag ran müssen. Dani wird von uns am Freitag ordentlich angefeuert. Ein weiteres Mitglied unserer Polenreise wird Toni sein für ihn wird dies sein erster richtiger Trip mit uns, wir hoffen doch, dass er ne Menge filmen wird, damit wir ein anständiges Video zusammenschneiden können! Wir freuen uns schon auf Polen, die Leute, das Event und natürlich auch auf die Afterparty.

Poland 2010

Skimfest #3

Last weekend our skimfest went down. Weather was fine but skimconditions sucked so we ended up shoveling a skimtrack to make the best out of it. Thanks to all the riders and everyone else who came out to hang at the beach. All in all everbody had a super fun day!

LKXA Barcelona Extreme

At the very beginning of june we got to spend a few days in Barcelona to be a part of the LKXA Barcelona Extreme Sports Festival. We got there a few days earlier to check out the city and go to places. We were super stoked on the event cause aside from skimboarding we could watch skateboarding, moto-x, bands etc. all day! Thanks again to our good friend Horacio at Voodoo Skimboards for building the skimtrack, supporting the sport of flatlandskimboarding and bringing us out! Were super excited to hopefully be back next year or even earlier!
